You might think this game is particularly silly, and I’d agree. You will see a clue like the one above. Each part of the clue refers to an expression, which may be familiar or rather off beat. So, “a place where you leave your vehicle” refers to “car park”, but the second part, “a refuge for ornamental fish” refers to “carp ark”.

The point here is that whether you say “car park” or “carp ark” at normal speed, the pronunciation is virtually the same. For you to work out where the two words split, it will help if you say the two words separately to test your answer. Remember, the clue is in the pronunciation more than the spelling, which might well change.

When you think you have found the answers, type the four words into the answer area with spaces between them and check: car park carp ark.
